About Me

I decided I wanted to be a journalist at 17, when my A-Level EPQ examined how publications responded to the Syrian refugee crisis. I’ve been chasing difficult questions ever since.

I have two years’ experience writing about politics and climate for a national publication, alongside an MSc in Political Science from LSE. I’m currently an NCTJ trainee at News Associates, producing journalism across print, digital and broadcast for The Londoners, with a focus on creating engaging, relevant content for a London audience.

My training spans shorthand, data journalism using Excel and Google Sheets, Flourish data visualisation, DaVinci video editing and presenting, alongside a strong grounding in media law and IPSO guidance.

To me, journalism is not about waiting for the story to arrive. It’s about pursuing the question others have overlooked, finding what is hidden in plain sight, and turning it into something people cannot ignore.
